With a repertoire of infectious songs ranging from dark 70’s punk to gothic carnival rock, and having blown the windows out of every venue they played, including shows with The Black Keys, The Adicts, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, and The Lords of Altamont, Igor Spectre sadly ended their explosive 13 years as a band in late 2013.

Formed in January 2000 under the moniker “Igor Spectre and The Phantoms,” the band soon dropped “And The Phantoms” and recorded their first EP and played until late 2001. In July 2003, Igor Spectre began recording their first LP and continued to play live shows in and around Los Angeles. The mix was completed in fall of 2004 by Earle Mankey.

After a 2-year hiatus, the band reformed and finally released their second LP Tramps In Stereo in 2009 and a live compilation, You Scream In Midnight Light in 2011. Igor’s 4th LP Steak, Seafood, Salad, Satan! was released in mid-2012, and the band continued to play shows through fall of 2013, when it’s 13 year run came to an end, and the LA music scene wept. Tears of joy.
